Admission requirements for course participation
The written placement test is a prerequisite for participation in the course. This can be supplemented by an interview with the pedagogical director to determine your eligibility and the appropriate starting module.
Our course graduates have an above-average placement rate of over 75% in the primary labor market. Over 80% reach the course goal with excellent final results (TOEIC or telc).
Learn and Speak is an essential provider of business language training for companies within the logistics network of Central Germany. Additionally, we cooperate with other educational institutions that work in the fields of technology, logistics, healthcare, and other commercial professions..
You can receive an education- or activation voucher (German: Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein, AVGS) if
- you are registered as a job seeker and having a corresponding qualification in business languages increases your placement potential.
- you would like to improve your qualifications in an existing employment relationship within the framework of a continuing education course.
- you are threatened with the loss of your job and you can avoid unemployment by gaining appropriate qualification in business language.
- you are on short-time work.
How do you obtain your activation- or education voucher?
- Please take our placement test.
- We will provide a comprehensive consultation to assess your previous knowledge and recommend the most suitable course at no cost to you.
- You will receive a written program offer from us, which you can then present to your employment advisor.
- If applicable, your employment advisor will issue you an education voucher, which you can redeem with us.
- We will settle the costs directly with the Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) / Job Center (Jobcenter) / Municipal Employment Companies.
- Individual courses supported by the activation voucher of the Federal Employment Agency / Job Center
We offer the program, Career Language Knowledge Mediation (Kenntnisvermittlung Sprachen für den Beruf)", which is certified by the Federal Employment Agency / Job Center. If required, these courses can also be provided alongside your job or as “Learn and Speak Fusion,” in which lessons can take place in person and/or virtually. The course duration can be between one and eight weeks with a maximum of 4 lesson units per day.

In our module, Job Application Training / Profiling, we support you in individual training in your search for employment, teach you individual strategies and help you to create meaningful application documents. As a language school, we naturally place great emphasis on the use of linguistic means. So, by participating in our course, you will be ideally prepared for future job interviews and learn how to act / react in relation to potential employers.
- "Trainingszentrum Wirtschaftssprachen" (Training Center Business Languages) supported by the education voucher of the Federal Employment Agency / Job Center
As an AZAV-certified training provider, we offer the Trainingszentrum Wirtschaftssprachen, which is sponsored by education vouchers from the Federal Employment Agency / Job Center / Municipal Employment Companies in groups with a maximum group size of 15 participants (and a minimum of seven participants). In case of a group size of less than ten participants, two lessons of blended learning per day are permissible. The course duration can be between two and four months with a maximum of 6 lesson units per day. An application for the appropriate program number will be made accordingly.

Ich kann [...] nur empfehlen. Ich habe dort einen English-Business course (mit Bildungsgutschein der Arbeitsagentur) gemacht. Ich hatte drei Lehrer (thank you so much Melissa, Darren and Laura!) aus verschiedenen Nationalitäten. Die Kursen waren sehr gut organisiert und für mich angepasst. Im Oktober/November 2019 habe ich einen Sprachkurs English for Business [...] absolviert. Der Sprachkurs wurde [...] höchst professionell geplant/zusammengestellt und durchgeführt. Dabei wurde auch meinen individuellen Anforderungen und Wünschen vollständig entsprochen. Die Kurse wurden von mehreren native speaking teachers unterschiedlicher Nationalitäten durchgeführt. Dadurch wurden auch länderspezifische Sprachregeln vermittelt, was ich sehr hilfreich und nützlich empfinde. Vielen Dank im Besonderen an Melissa, Daniel, Edite und Jessica, insgesamt aber an das gesamte [...] Team! Den Sprachtest nach telc English B2 Business konnte ich am Ende des Kurses erfolgreich abschließen. Neben der professionellen Gestaltung des Sprachkurses habe ich auch eine sehr freundliche und angenehme Atmosphäre in der Sprachschule erfahren, die nicht unwesentlich zum Lernerfolg beiträgt. Ich kann und möchte die [...] Sprachschule uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Im Sommer habe ich [...] einen 1zu1 Kurs Business Englisch absolviert und war sehr zufrieden. Bereits beim Beratungsgespräch gab es große Unterschiede zu anderen Anbietern. Hier wurde sich Zeit genommen und es wurde auch auf meine Fragen eingegangen, sodass ich eine gute Vorstellung vom Ablauf bekommen habe. Die Entscheidung [...] hab ich nicht bereut. Der Kurs lief genau so ab, wie es besprochen wurde. Die Organisation war fehlerfrei, ich habe stets pünktlich den Kursplan erhalten, meine Terminwünsche wurden berücksichtigt und es wurden per Email rechtzeitig Hinweise gegegeben [...]. Die Trainer sind super. Die ungezwungene Atmosphäre, die es erlaubte auch mal vom Thema abzuschweifen, war genau richtig um die Fremdsprache im Gespräch anzuwenden. Neben den sprachlichen Fähigkeiten habe ich viel über kulturelle Aspekte der USA kennengelernt. Als Fazit kann ich sagen, dass mir die Zeit [...] viel Freude bereitet hat. Effizienter kann man eine Fremdsprache wohl nur lernen, wenn man in das entsprechende Land / Sprachgebiet umzieht. Einen großen Dank an Constanze, Rachel, Edite und Stephanie.
