The Learn and Speak placement test is your individual language assessment.

Determining your language level is important, so that your language training with us, your language school in Dessau, fits right from the start and you learn exactly what you need.

Placement test procedure: 5 steps to determine your language level

The procedure of our placement test consists of 5 steps. These provide us with a solid basis for determining your language level.

Step 1: Choose between online or PDF

Decide how you want to take your placement test.

The choice is yours:

Both methods provide you with an individual and reliable result!

Step 2: Before you start, please note the following information

You are motivated and want to start immediately with your placement test? That makes us happy.

Please read and follow our instructions for the test first. These are important, otherwise your result could be falsified.

If you take the placement test online, the page "3 important things to do before you start" will be displayed automatically before your test.

If you take the placement test as a PDF download (coming soon), you will find the instructions on the first page of the test.

 

Step 3: The test

Now, you’re ready to begin! Take the placement test and answer as many questions as you can in 45 minutes.

You'll test:

• Your vocabulary skills
• Your knowledge of language structures
• Your knowledge of typical situations

Important: Relax! Do not try to do more than you are able to do.

 

Step 4: Your self-assessment

Here you assess which tasks you are already able to handle successfully in practice and where you would like to use your knowledge in the future.

This will help us to find the best possible language course for you!

 

Step 5: The evaluation

The test evaluation is first created automatically. At the training center, the result is then evaluated by one of our specialists.

This specialist will also check whether a further on-site assessment is necessary for an accurate classification.

We will contact you if this is the case for you.

You can take the placement test in 2 different languages: English and German.
